Big Bear's Bus Cafe was created and is operated by Jeremiah and Anna Luce with their 2 fun daughters. When Jeremiah was younger, he and some good friends called a bus home for a couple of good years. This experience of traveling the country on the cheap and meeting different people developed a sort of love for what he calls “Bus Culture”.
The entire Luce family has always loved traveling and experiencing other cultures and people. Over the years, Anna has been to Haiti, Jeremiah has been to Africa and the whole family has been to Jamaica twice. On these trips, the Luces have had the pleasure of spending time at schools, churches, children's centers, and many orphanages. These experiences have influenced them to try to live with purpose, and try to run a business the same way.
Whether it is serving only fair trade coffee, using recycled veggie oil as conflict-free fuel, or their meal for a meal food share program, through Big Bear's Bus Cafe they are striving to apply their hearts to their business practices - and have a little fun along the way. Don't forget the fun! :-)
