We want to run a business that is concerned with more than just profit. We define success as operating our business in a way that is concerned for the well-being of others and this big ball of water and dirt suspended in space. There are plenty of companies that only care about the bottom line and define their success by the numbers on the balance sheet. For us, it’s a little different. We are still learning and have a long way to go, but we hope to run a business that lives by its convictions.
Here are some of our convictions.
Money should not be the deciding factor in doing business.
We should care about other people on this earth who don’t have access to the basic needs of life to sustain them, simply because of where they were born.
We should be conscious of our choices and how they affect our environment.
We should be interested in understanding others who are different than us and having meaningful relationships with the people we share this earth with.
One of our greatest companions on this journey of life should be humility.
